Parent-controlled from start to finish
New Friends Are Waiting
Build community. Make playdates easier.
FamilyFriendFinder helps parents and guardians find compatible families and friendship opportunities for children ages 2-20, based on location, interests, activities, age, and more.
FamilyFriendFinder is parent-controlled. Children do not create accounts or communicate independently.

A short introduction to how parents and guardians use the service.
How FamilyFriendFinder Works
Six simple steps, all of them under your control.
- Step 1
Create your parent account
You register as the parent or legal guardian and verify your email. Children never create accounts.
- Step 2
Set your location
Share your location or enter it manually. Only an approximate distance is ever shown to other families.
- Step 3
Add a profile for each child
Use a first name or nickname, an age, interests, activities and availability - you choose every detail.
- Step 4
See compatible families nearby
We suggest families within your chosen radius, with a simple compatibility score to help you compare.
- Step 5
Express interest, then talk parent-to-parent
When both parents are interested, a private conversation opens between the two of you.
- Step 6
Arrange a playdate on your terms
Decide together what to plan, where to meet, and whether to share contact details at all.
Every Age From 2 to 20
Friendship matters at two and it matters at twenty. Parents set the age range they want, and every child profile is created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian.

Parent-Controlled From Start to Finish
The architecture itself makes child accounts impossible. Every search, request, message and decision belongs to the parent or legal guardian who holds the account.
- Children cannot register, sign in, or search.
- Children have no private profile and no private messaging.
- A child is shown only as a first name or nickname with an age.
- Birth dates, surnames and exact addresses are never shown to another family.
- You can pause a child profile at any time without deleting it.
- Report, block and remove tools are available on every profile and conversation.
Find Families Near You
Search within 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 miles - or look at another town before you travel. Other families see only an approximate distance such as 2.4 miles away.
Match by Interests and Activities
Soccer, LEGO, art, coding, hiking, homeschool groups and dozens more. Shared interests, languages, personality and availability all shape the compatibility score.
Safe Parent-to-Parent Communication
Private Parent Messaging opens only after both parents express interest. No email address or phone number is shared automatically.
Create Multiple Child Profiles
One account, one profile per child, each with its own interests, preferred friend age range and availability.

Private Parent Messaging
Conversations happen between verified parent and guardian accounts only. You are shown as your first name; your child is shown as the nickname you chose. Nothing else is revealed unless you decide to share it.
FamilyFriendFinder Parent
"Hi, I'm Sarah. My son Jack is 9 and loves soccer and LEGO. I saw that your child has similar interests - would you like to meet at the park on Saturday?"
Report, block and end-conversation controls are always one tap away.
