Plain-language summary

A short overview to help you read the document below. The full document is what applies.

  • We use the cookies and local storage needed to sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • We do not place advertising trackers anywhere on the service, including on child profile pages.

1. What we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication - keeps you signed in. Stored by our authentication provider in your browser.
  • Security - helps detect and prevent abuse of sign-in and account recovery.
  • Preferences - remembers small choices such as a search filter you last used, so the service behaves the way you left it.

These are required for the service to work. If you block them you will not be able to sign in.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are used and where errors happen. Analytics are never used to build an advertising profile, and are never applied to child profile pages for advertising purposes.

Optional tracking

We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. If we ever introduce an optional tracking technology in a jurisdiction where consent is required, we will ask for your consent first through a consent banner, record that consent, and let you withdraw it from Your Privacy Choices.

2. Child profile pages

We do not place advertising trackers on pages that display a child profile, and we do not allow third-party advertising technology on those pages.

3. Managing cookies

Your browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data. Removing our authentication cookie signs you out. Clearing preferences resets small display choices only.

4. Do Not Track

Because we do not track members across other websites, there is no cross-site tracking for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. If we introduce an activity that one of those signals applies to, we will honour it.
