Community Guidelines

A community of parents and guardians, talking to each other with care.

Do

  • Introduce yourself as a parent, with your first name.
  • Describe your child using the nickname and age on their profile.
  • Suggest public places for a first meetup.
  • Accept a "no" gracefully - not every family is a match.
  • Report anything that feels wrong, even if you are unsure.

Don't

  • Ask for a child's full name, school, address or birth date.
  • Push for a phone number, email or another app early in a conversation.
  • Send repeated messages to a parent who has not replied.
  • Use the platform for dating, romance or commercial promotion.
  • Post photographs of other people's children.
  • Attempt to reach a child directly, in any way.

What happens when a guideline is broken

Depending on what happened, we may hide a profile, disable messaging or matching, require re-verification, suspend or ban an account. Where activity is unclear we describe it neutrally as "Activity requires administrative review" while our team looks into it.
