Plain-language summary

A short overview to help you read the document below. The full document is what applies.

  • We aim for readable text, strong contrast, full keyboard use and screen reader support.
  • Every legal document is readable on a phone and can be printed or downloaded.
  • Tell us if something is hard to use and we will fix it.

1. Our aim

We want every parent to be able to read our policies and use the service, including people who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or high contrast settings. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and treat accessibility problems as bugs.

2. What we do

  • Body text at a comfortable size, with generous line spacing and no small grey print
  • Colour contrast checked against our palette, and colour never used as the only cue
  • Every interactive control reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring
  • Proper heading structure and landmarks so a screen reader can navigate a document
  • Form fields with real labels, and checkboxes that state exactly what you are agreeing to
  • Images given text alternatives
  • Layouts that reflow on a phone without horizontal scrolling
  • Legal documents that can be printed or downloaded as plain text

3. Known limits

This is an evolving product and we do not claim it is free of accessibility defects. Some third-party components, such as the payment screen provided by our payment processor, are outside our direct control.

4. Tell us about a problem

Email support@familyfriendfinder.com with the page and what happened, and we will respond and try to offer an alternative way to complete what you were doing.
